2007 MEDFORD RECREATION SUMMER PARK PROGRAM
For over 40 years the City of Medford has provided a summer recreation program in the parks to keep youngsters active during summer vacation.
The program runs for 7 weeks - June 25 until August 9th
Monday through Friday - 9 AM - Noon and 1 PM - 4 PM
The program is open to children ages 6-15
There is NO COST to attend ther program - all you have to do is show up!
It is not necessary to attend everyday, children may choose which days and times they would like to attend.
The objective of the program is to provide close to home recreation for youngsters in the community. We aim to provide a program which includes sports games, physical activities, arts and crafts, etc.
With instructors serving as role models, we hope to instill the values of leadership and group cooperation. A wide variety of activites are provided so that youngsters can be introduced to different games and events. We try to provide something for everyone, therefore we are always adapting our program to meet the needs of the children. It is the goal of the program to provide the children with a fun experience, create new friendships and create lasting memories of a great summer! With your support and participation the long, proud tradition of the Medford Precreation Summer Program will continue.
