ATTENTION RESIDENTS
The City of Medford is about to commence a roadway and infrastructure improvement project on Hancock, Kenway and Harvard Streets in South Medford.
At Hancock Street the work extends from Mystic Street to Main Street and consists of new water main and service pipes (from the main to the property line.; new roadway pavement and concrete sidewalks including new handicap ramps and tree planting.
At Kenway Street the work extends from Hancock Street to Eliot Street and includes the work mentioned above for Hancock Street except for the existing water main which will remain in place.
At Harvard Street the work extends from Mystic Avenue to Willis Avenue and features new water main and service pipes to the property line; new roadway pavement and in the vicinity of Mystic Avenue, new sidewalk and curb.
The City has hired E.H. Perkins, Inc. as the contractor for this project. E.H. Perkins will start on March 24, 2008 and should finish the majority of the work by the end of August 2008.
