Description of Alleged Claim:

The claimant, Diana Pettie, age 48, 35 Bradlee Road, Medford, MA, seeks compensation for injuries suffered as a result of an alleged sidewalk defect, namely broken cobblestones, in front of 21 Bradlee Road..  As a result of her fall, she sustained bruising and abrasions to her head with substantial pain in her right shoulder, hand and knee as well.  She received immediate emergency treatment at Lawrence Memorial Hospital as well as follow-up physical therapy at LMH.    Her medical bills were in excess of $10,000.  The necessary Releases have been obtained from the claimant.  The alleged defect was repaired shortly after the accident in or about October 2005.
